From the Desk of the Principal…March 21, 2023
Tuesday of the Fourth Week of Lent
Ezekiel 47:1-9, 12.
The mighty Lord is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge – Psalm 45(46):2-3, 5-6, 8-9.
John 5:1-3, 5-16.
Pray for a guide
Some of us carry heavy burdens of ill-health or grief for many years. As Christians we struggle with our image of God. Shouldn’t a good God free us from this burden as soon as we ask? Is not the mighty Lord our help and refuge? Have I done something wrong? Perhaps if we can find a small starting point of divine love, like uncovering the headwaters of a river, then we may slowly trace its increasing flow in our lives. Pray for an angel, a saint, a deceased loved one, to guide you along its course, to discover its increasing depth and power, and how it provides you with what you seek.
Learning Temperance
The virtue of temperance is about practice self-control it helps you control your actions, thoughts, and feelings . Our bodies need that gas that helps it grow and flourish like food, water , exercise and rest. Termerance help you balance what your body needs without have too much or too little of it. Like all the virtues, temperance must be learned through practice and patience. While it may not sound like much fun, the only real way to become temperate is through prayer and self-denial. In other words, you have to tell yourself no now and then.
Virtue for the Month of March is Temperance ~ Enjoying things in a proper balanced way.

The Student Council is also leading each class in daily prayer that changes weekly as well as continuing Almsgiving by collecting money for those in need in Turkey, Syria and Ukraine.
